Q: What makes a "Good Night" of pedicabbing?

When our drivers come in after a long night in the saddle, we often ask them "So, how'd ya do?" It's interesting the variety of answers we get to that simple questions -- all on the same night! One driver will say "Oh man, it really sucked," while another will tell us "Wow! I was rockin' and rollin'!"

So what does it for you? What determines whether you had a good night or a so-so night or a mediocre night or an all-out bad night?

Is it the money? The number of rides you got? The people you met? The fun you had? The adventure you went on? What is it?

First is whether or not I have had fun. A couple of weeks ago it was the challenge of going six miles with a fare. If I am having fun, the money follows. And so do the "really big tips."

Nicely said m a f .....
My #1 goal each tour is to show my fare at least 1 thing they never saw or knew about. If not, tour is free. (never happened...yet)
My #1 goal every ride is to leave them smiling. Good times. (very hard when local football team loses championship)
If those happen, I had a good night. After all, it HAS to be fun for the driver too.

the biggest joy i can experience is just knowing that i am a rickshaw .
it does not matter how much money i made nor how tired i am , the ride home (preferably on a bicycle ) just
has me chuckling to myself "i am glad i was here " i am 60 and have been working since i was 14 , why oh why did i have to work in a whole career
before i was rescued from the curse of work by a rickshaw

Did you read all the way down here? That's awesome. Thanks!
