Obviously, from the photo, our pedicab company in Denver doesn't close in the winter. We run year-round, although we're now in a slower season. With all the sports venues in the downtown area, our drivers stay pretty busy. We just got through football season where Broncos games are one of the hottest (and hardest) events our drivers ride. Now it's hockey and basketball along with lacrosse and arena football.

Winter riding poses a few problems for us as operators. A big one is keeping drivers out on the street since most don't want to ride in cold weather. We do have some drivers who ONLY want to ride in the winter, but they're few and far between.

Winter riding is also harder on the cabs. They get much dirtier, and things are more apt to break in the cold temps.

By the way, Gike, we didn't have the sub-zero temps you had at Lambeau this year, but we've had them in the past. In fact, a couple of winters ago one of our drivers was interviewed by one of the local news channels doing a story on the crazy people out in weather that cold.

6 pedicabbers in Green Bay worked the packer/seahawk game Jan 12 in a snowstorm. Only 3 inches fell, but it came down fast and hard...what a hoot! Pedicabs were definately safer than walking. We are awaiting the cowboy / giants final, as a NYG's win brings next weeks game back to Lambeau!! Predicted temps next sunday - -5 degrees at night, high of 8 degrees....Layers

We don't have snow, but we do have the cold and the rain. And most drivers don't like either.

For a couple of drivers the adage, nor rain, nor sleet nor dark of night truly applies.
